The project includes the expansion of the airport’s terminal building arrival and pre-departure area and the improvement of basic facilities. There will be an upgrade on the water supply facilities, navigational aids, and other various support facilities, including its power plant.
The improvement is most likely to be noticeable from the new look of the airport. Taking inspiration from its famous Tuna products, the updated exterior design of the said airport is like that of a Tuna fin- the city’s famous sashimi-grade tuna product.
