Korean drama has unique script plays, plot twists, and a sensible official soundtrack (OST) that stirs several emotions that cuts deep into the bones. Their stories have their undeniably unpredictable turns, giving every fanatic a roller-coaster ride and clouded thoughts of what's next for the leading stars. 

 

K-drama is a full of surprises; their equally interesting actresses and actors playing the roles are leveling it all up, too. Perhaps, what makes all K-drama fanatics go crazier about K- series, and movies, are the actors playing the lead roles. We have watched them on screen, admired their acting skills, fell in love with their characters- probably this time, with their personality too.

Everyone in the Philippines must have encountered or seen somewhere the name and face of Lee Min Ho. This talented and handsome actor and model is almost in every billboard stand in the country. His popularity started on his breakthrough K-drama, Boys over Flower, in which he starred with Ku Hye-sun, Kim Hyun-Joong, Kim Bum, Kim Joon, and Kim So-Eun. From then on, Filipino fans have supported and loved his other projects like Personal Taste, City Hunter, The Heirs, Line Romance, Gangnam Blues, Bounty Hunters, Legend of the Blue Sea, and The King: Eternal Monarch.

Lee Min Ho doesn't just act and model? He is also a singer!  He released three albums, such as My Everything, Song for You, and the Japanese version of My Everything. Most commonly known now for his character as Big Boss of South Korea from the K-drama, Descendants of the Sun, which he starred together with his co-star and now ex-wife, Song Hye-kyu. Song Joong Ki has charms that could sweep you off your feet. He has starred in several series and movies that showed his excellence in acting. The well-loved movies and dramas are Penny Pinchers, The Battleship Island, A Werewolf Boy, Sungkyunkwan Scandal, and Innocent Man.

Joong Ki's father initially didn't support his decision to join the entertainment industry. He attended and finished a degree in Business Administration (minor in broadcasting) in 2012. Besides this accomplishment, Joong Ki is a smart lad; he got into the Sungkyunkwan University with an admission test score of 380 points out of 400. A versatile actor, Park Seo Joon can be anyone in various K-drama, movies, and series. He is a very dedicated actor, putting all his talents to the right places and perfectly playing diverse roles. He masters several characters, such as a childish cute lad, an arrogant and harsh CEO of a big company, and even a tough MMA fighter. He can do comedy, romance, drama, and thriller, most naturally.

Filipino fans loved his character, that all his following projects also became a hit in the Philippines, like the most recent, Crash Landing on You. Hyun Bin, as Captain Ri, the nobleman from North Korea, captured once again the hearts of his Filipino fans, who are genuinely in awe of his skills and talent.

 

His other well-loved K-dramas and films are Secret Garden, Memories of the Alhambra, Confidential Assignment, The Swindlers, The Negotiation (2018), as well as the zombie horror Rampant.

Behind the masterpieces that his acting has put through in all his projects is his true love for acting. He spent his university years at Chung-Ang University and studied stagecraft and theater. Also, if he didn't make it to Chung-Ang, his parents would otherwise not support his chosen acting career. His parents must have wanted him to be in the best university for acting to be the best in his craft. Hyun Bin deserves all the recognition and love he has received all through the years!
